19 February 2005:

THE KESTREL, the newsletter or the Kentucky Ornithological Society, is
now posted on the KOS web site at the link below:

KOS members received this in hard copy with their most recent issue of
THE KENTUCKY WARBLER.

Volume 7, Issue 2 of THE KESTREL is a short 2 page document, as usual,
with articles/information related to:

        1. The upcoming Spring KOS Meeting including guest speaker
Brian Patteson,
        2. Location of Future Meetings,
        3. A brief taxonomic note and Cackling Goose reference.
        4. Field Trips, and
        5. Tidbits from the 2003-04 CBC Season (not the 2004-05
Season).

KOS invites all who are interested to download THE KESTREL and, of
course, to join KOS as well. You will need Adobe Acrobat 6.0 or newer
to read make the download.
