[birdky] Stragglers and vultures

A little late, but maybe of interest: There were still two (at least)
black-crowned night-herons, one adult and one juvenile, at Barkley Dam (lower
parking lot) on Friday at 4:45 p.m., and four cattle egrets as well. Up near
the dam, on the transmission tower just inside the new fence near the
southernmost gate to the dam itself, was a roost of 46 turkey vultures.
This morning we saw our first junco for fall in the yard.
Good Birding!
