Both teal species (100s of each)
Canvasback
Redhead
Greater Scaup
Ruddy Duck (250-300 above Barkley Dam)
Common Loon (60+ Ky)
WESTERN GREBE (2 above Ky Dam/probably best viewed
from Lighthouse Landing)
American White Pelican (160+ Barkley)
DC Cormorant (1000s moving north on Barkley...the
steady stream of cormorants reminded me of watching
1/2 million Sooty Shearwaters stream by off the
California coast)
Osprey (several...some on nest)
Bald Eagle (incubating below Ky Dam)
ICELAND GULL (1st or 2nd cycle  Kuttawa Bar/Barkley)
THAYER'S GULL (1st cy Ky Dam beach)
Caspian Tern (2 Barkley)
Fish Crow (2 Ky Dam)
Cliff Swallow (many at Barkley Dam)
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (Ky)
