Sloughs & western Henderson Co.

28º rising to 55º clear frost & patchy fog early
I visited to Woods Tract, Anderson Pond, Horseshoe Rd. slough, Grassy Pond/Powell's Lake Unit, Crenshaw Tract, Hardy Slough, Ohio River edges off West Franklin Road. 

Highlights:
Tundra Swans not seen.
Flooded area across 268 from Woods tract was full of ducks and geese at 6:30 but only Killdeer present at 1pm. White-fronted Geese still outnumber Canadas across from Woods tract at 6:30 
Snow Geese across from Woods tract
Anderson Pond is almost deserted except for Coots
Canvasbacks 2 at Horseshoe Rd. slough
Hooded Mergansers at Crenshaw Tract
Yellow-rumped Warblers Ohio River edge
RUSTY BLACKBIRDS Ohio River edge
Fox Sparrows Crenshaw Tract
Lapland Longspurs a few seen again at Horseshoe Rd. slough cornfields
