Purple Martins over Hardy Slough
Fish Crows calling as they passed over Shorebird Unit
I did not see the Tundra Swans today. I checked Pond Creek Marsh,
Shorebird Unit, Wood Tract south, Muddy Slough & Hardy Slough.
Wood Tract north will be dry in a day or two. Numbers of Yellowlegs
and Pecs had dropped tremendously from 3/31.
Most of the Yellowlegs were at Shorebird Unit, with a few pecs and
Wilson's Snipe.
Still no access to Horseshoe Road to check out the slough there. 136
has been graded from the end of the blacktop to 1574.
Beyond that point is a sign that the road is closed. Horrible washouts
from there as far as I could see.
