Sloughs Sauerheber Unit is now closed until March 15th. But Wood Tract (south) is viewable from 268, but not a lot of water. Pumping is not going on as of this morning. Location: Sloughs WMA Sauerheber Unit--Wood Tract Observation date: 11/1/09 Number of species: 9 Greater White-fronted Goose 50 Canada Goose 150Tundra Swan 5 Long distance photos taken. Assumed Tundras due to that is the species that winters at Wood Tract.
