Water is very high, like spring.
Shorebird Impoundment is flooded, had Canadas at 6:30 but they left soon and only 1 Pied-billed Grebe remained.
The Wilson's Snipe was at the edge of a flooded field at Hardy Slough.
Water is being pumped into Woods Tract, but with all the standing corn this year seeing any ducks is going to be difficult. But across the road the field was planted in soybeans; if it ever get dry enough the soybeans will be harvested and seeing the ducks and geese and swans north of 268 should be much better than last year.
