[birdky] Shrike nest

This morning I found a Loggerhead Shrike's nest in a Multiflora Rose bush in my
fence row. I had seen a shrike fly from this bush a couple of days ago when the
hay rake brushed slightly against it, but just got around to making a close
inspection today. When I approached today, the shrike flew out, and when I
peeked under the foliage, I spotted a few mouths begging for food. I didn't try
to make an exact count. Doing so would have called for pulling some foliage
back that might rearrange itself to continue to obscure the nest. A pair has
territory here nearly every year, but this is only the second time I have
located a nest.
