[birdky] Sedge Wren - SSWMA

We positively identified several sedge wrens this morning at the South Shore Wildlife Mngt. Area. Very close observations from 10 - 30 feet of lengthy duration with them calling and singing. We observed one make repeated flights with nesting material to a nesting site. We made a note of the site. Contrary to what Sibley's says these did not flush and fly off sparrow like, but stayed around and watched us like a typical wren. Observers besides myself included my brother, Rick, Scot Freidhoff, and a cousin. 

Another notable specie included a Great Egret.
Rick reported seeing a flock of Blue Grosbeaks this past Wednesday. Too bad they were not there today.

Killdeer,
RT Hummingbird,
Common Yellowthroat,
Indigo Bunting,
Goldfinch,
Phoebe,
Carolina Wren,
Field Sparrow,
Song Sparrow,
Robins,
Crows,
RW Blackbird, and

Raccoon,
Muskrat,
