The Black Scoter was present between Mike Fink's and the Licking this evening
although I couldn't find it earlier in the AM. This particular spot seems to
be a good feeding location for diving ducks, with small fish tending to
congregate at the point where they enter the Ohio. The Long-tailed Duck that
was
present last winter as well as the one in Jan. 96, were both seen successfully
catching small fish at this same location.
