[birdky] Scissor-tailed Flycatcher Update

June 17, 2002:

Dave Roemer just called. He is at the location described on the previous
post and has located a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher nest with both adults
present feeding young.

The exact location is:

South of I-24 and KY 453 about 1/2 mile as described before.
Immediately south of the large power lines that cross the road there is a
big pile of coal.
There is a haul road that turns east at the pile of coal.
There is a pole at the intersection of the haul road KY 453 on the east side
of KY 453.
The nest is on the pole on a brace of cross members.

At least 1 young is in the nest.
