What a marvelous weekend!  We counted 53 species, which is, by far, the
highest count here for this time of year.  We ended with 6 warblers, 5
woodpeckers, 3 swallows, 2 falcons and 2 owls.  I suspect that someone with
more "warbler skill" could have added several more warblers; they were all
around, all weekend and I had glimpses of some significantly different ones.

The Peregrine, this afternoon, was a highlight. the whole weekend was a
highlight, but I had a period of about 5 minutes this morning, when I had  5
warbler species around me in the pond thicket.  What fun!

There were many Chimney Swifts and Swallows in the air, all weekend,
including the first Tree Swallows that we've seen since July.  We had a
group of Bluebirds lazing around that were accompanied by a loose collection
of Chipping Sparrows, Myrtle and Yellow-throated Warblers.  The little guys
tagged along everywhere the Bluebirds went.

We still had three hummingbirds here today.
