Rose H. and I traveled to Ewing Bottoms Monday in search of sandhills and we
saw thousands and thousands and thousands of cranes. Relocated Cecelia cranes?
Many of the usually traveled roads were flooded and closed off, so we couldn’t
get close to all the groups. Two distant large white birds had us excited, but
viewing through a scope revealed swans, not whoopers.
