Hello Everyone:
Kentucky has been asked to participate in the US Fish and Wildlife Service
survey of Sandhill Cranes on Friday October 31st. I realize, few (if any)
sandhill cranes have made it to Kentucky at that time, but you never know.
I would really appreciate any sightings of sandhill cranes this Friday in
Kentucky. If you could record and send me the number of birds you see and
as exact a location as possible (GPS location is best but written
descriptions will work), I will include your sightings in Kentucky's data we
send the USFWS. Please send the sightings to this email or my work email (
john.brunjes@xxxxxx).
I really appreciate your help with this survey,
Sincerely
John Brunjes
