[birdky] Re: Rufous Hummer in Bowling Green, KY

The Rufous Hummingbird coming to my feeder was last observed on November
30th. That morning I had noticed she was quite nervous when feeding, sitting
for only seconds at a time. She had always before been very casual when
feeding, sitting for up to a minute or more at each visit. I had a sense
that something was up. She was seen in the morning but not in the afternoon
of the 30th. She is probably visiting someone's feeder in Georgia by now. I
had hoped she would help get me through this dreadful winter. People who
know me know how much I hate winter!
