I took a weekend trip to New Carlisle, IN (South Bend area). Stayed with my
parents and did some window bird watching of my mom's feeders. My person
highlights were the spunky little Chipping Sparrows and a pair of White-Crowned
Sparrows.
And just this morning before work at my own black oil sunflower seed feeder, I
saw a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak, my first ever. It was terrific to just stand
there and watch him...gorgeous coloration.
