[birdky] Report: Trigg County Birds today

Today, I birded and explored some in Central Trigg County.  The most
spectacular observation today was of about 200 American White Pelicans
rising/thermaling upwards at a great distance.  I was on the western edge of
Cadiz; the birds could be seen several miles away.  They were spectacularly
beautiful.  It was also odd to see a Turkey Vulture "dwarfed" by its avian
neighbors.
 
I birded the extreme SW edge of LBL between Energy Lake and US 68, stopping
periodically looking for woodland migrants.  Species of possible interest
observed included:  
 

*       Yellow-billed Cuckoo
*       Eastern Peewee
*       Empidonax species
*       White-eyed Vireo
*       Yellow-throated Vireo
*       Red-eyed Vireo
*       Northern Parula
*       Chestnut sided Warbler
*       Magnolia Warbler(about 20)
*       Black-and-White Warbler
*       Black-throated Green Warbler
        
*       Bay breasted Warbler
*       Pine Warbler
*       Summer Tanager
*       Rose-breasted Grosbeak

Other birds of possible interest included 2 immature Double-crested
Cormorants, ~5 Caspian  Terns, 1 Cooper's Hawk, and 1 Osprey.
