[birdky] Reelfoot Lake

I just got back from a trip to Reelfoot Lake. It was for kayaking, not birding,
and the weather was mostly awful: windy, cold and rainy except for a few hours
Saturday morning, but here are the highlights of what I saw over the course of
three days.

1 Bald Eagle...on a nest, far away
1 Golden Eagle... from my kayak and pretty close...woooeee!
4 Osprey...3 out fishing, one on a nest
Coots...too many to count
Mallards, scattered
a few Canada geese, scattered
1 Scaup...all alone
20 or so Blue Winged Teal in a flock
30 or more Great Egrets
20 or more Great Blue Herons
1 Kingfisher
Red Winged Blackbirds
Grackles
1 Hairy woodpecker
4 Downey Woodpecker
1 YB Sapsucker
1 Red Headed Woodpecker
1 Red Bellied Woodpecker
1 Pileated Woodpecker
Turkey Vultures
Robins
White Throated Sparrows
Juncos
Carolina Wrens

Lots of ice storm damage all the way down to Western TN and in the Reelfoot
Swamp.
