[birdky] Red-Shouldered Hawk

I observed a an immature Red-Shouldered Hawk in my backyard today. It flew
in over the house, scattering birds and squirrels and landed on my woodpile.
It then searched the entire woodpile from both sides and top and from the
ground, peering into the woodpile like a cat. Resident chipmunks and both
Carolina Wrens and W-T Sparrows frequent the woodpile, so it may have trying
to get at them. Squirrels on an adjacent tree were still a few minutes but
eventually started moving off, but the hawk paid them little attention. It
finally flew off into the wood a few feet off the ground. Paul Hager
