Title: Raven Run/ 4/3, 4/5

Raven Run was interesting twice for me this week. On 5/3, notable birds were a WILSON'S WARBLER and a CHESTNUT-SIDED.

Today, 5/5, I had a Yellow-Billed Cuckoo and 16 warblers--all found the first hour and a half, none the next hour and a half. Bummer. But about 4 Blackburnians were overhead, nearly hurting my ears with their high notes.

Warblers:BLACKBURNIAN, LOUISVILLE, NASHVILLE, CHESTNUT-SIDED, BLACKPOLL, plus 11 more. Today and last time there was too much birding by ear for my taste--the hills and tall trees make it hard to see. There were a few songs I couldn't be sure of--I bet there were more species than I found.
