[birdky] RPT:Birding in Louisville

I've gotten out a little bit in the last couple of days nothing amazing but:

Oct. 8, Iroquois Park, 3:30-7:30pm-birded the Summit
Cooper's Hawk-1
Common Nighthawk-1
Yellow-bl. Sapsucker-2
Swainson's Thr.-1 heard
Nashville W.-1
Magnolia W.-1
Yellow-rp. W.-3
Black-thr. Green W.-2
Bay-br. W.-2
Ovenbird-1 quiet and moving very slowly if i wasn't traveling so slow I never 
would have seen it
Com. Yellowthroat-2
Scarlet Tanager-1
Field Sp.-12
Swamp Sp.-2 
White-thr. Sp.-1 FOS
American Gold.- 400+-huge flock scanned carefully for siskins to no avail

Oct. 9, Garvin Brown Preserve, Prospect-4:30-7:30pm with Barbara Woerner
Great Egret-4 flying over going West
Wood Duck- 10 flying in at sunset
Teal sp.- too dark to make out details
Black Vulture-5 was the high count at one time
Osprey-1  searching the Ohio River first time seeing one there!
Cistothorus sp.- looked pale in flight pos. a sedge wren but not conclusive
Yellow-rp. W.-3
Palm W.-3
Com. Yellowthroat-1
Savannah Sp.-5 flushed from wetland (or dry actually) next to parking lot
Swamp Sp.-10 low 
White-cr. Sp.-1 imm. FOS
Eastern Meadowlark-5 very quiet 

Oct. 10. Iroquois Park, 8:30-10:30 am
Yellow-bl. Sap.-2
Eastern Wood Pee-Wee-1 first flycatcher in a week
House Wren-1 common enough but rarely noted in the park
Ruby-cr. Kinglet-2
East. Bluebird-4 rarely seen in the park
Solitary Vireo-4 at least, may have been part of a pure flock but difficult to 
keep track of
good Warbler day:
Orange-cr. Warbler-1 never studied one so well for so long every once in awhile 
I thought I might be catching a glimpse of the crown!

PINE- rarely see this bird in migration 2 including ad. male singing from a 
Virginia White Pine
Palm-4
Bay-br.-3

not bad considering I didn't see Mag., Tenn.
