[birdky] RPT: White-winged Crossbills @ Lexington Cemetery

Spent 3 hours birding at Lexington Cemetery this morning from 0800 to 1100.  Was greeted by a brown creeper as soon as I pulled into the cemetery.  Lots of robins, there were at least 100 bathing in a low area that was holding water.  The front office has maps and bird checklists of the cemetery grounds available at no charge.

Birds of interest:

Sharp-shinned Hawk
Re-tailed Hawk (damaged/blind in right eye)  Hawk apperared OK, no trouble perching.
Brown Creeper
American Robin  (800 +)
Yellow-rumped Warbler
White-throated Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Pine Siskin  (20 plus)
White-winged Crossbill  (25).  The crossbills were actively feeding in the eastern hemlocks.  Had my best luck in Section
19 and 20.  Section 41 (Baby Land) produced both crossbills and pine siskins.
