I received a few emails late yesterday and this morning asking if I ever heard any more about the Harlequin Duck search. I know that the Bells & Hubers looked around until early afternoon and that Kathy & Joe Caminiti visited New Richmond for awhile mid- to late afternoon without luck. Eddie reported seeing only a few common waterbirds and nothing else unusual while they were in the area. Hopefully the bird will show up again; I'm sure at least the local birders will be out and about this week. Matt Stickel did get out on the river at Louisville yesterday and reported a pretty decent variety of diving ducks including the two White-winged Scoters. bpb, Frankfort
