[birdky] RPT: Three more Rufous Hummingbirds banded

In the past two days, Mark Monroe and I have banded three more Rufous
Hummingbirds:

a young male northeast of Georgetown, Scott County,

a young female in northern Jessamine County outside of Lexington, and

a young male in eastern Shelby County.

Yesterday, there was an abnormally large flight of Sandhill Cranes over the
Frankfort/Lexington region. "Hundreds" were seen on the ground at dusk
yesterday northeast of the jct of US 60 and US 62 just north of Versailles;
this afternoon, Amy and I could only find 4 still there (but 4 is better
than none :o). Diana Ratliff with Shakertown also said she had heard of
flocks passing over Lexington yesterday. And last night between 6 and 7, at
least two groups were heard migrating over Frankfort.
