Several folks have asked about the flood retention basin where the Little Stint
was present last month. Recent rains have raised the level of the water in the
basin so that shoreline has been greatly diminished and even eliminated for
periods. I imagine today/tonight's rain has again brought it back up to where
there will be no shorebird habitat again for a couple of weeks.
