[birdky] RPT: South Logan & Todd Counties

I took off from the KOS meeting this weekend after several consecutive
meetings and 4 years as VP or P.  I hope and trust that many birds were
observed there and that all in attendance enjoyed themselves.  I had to bird
a little here locally to be sure birds did not get out of my system
altogether.
 
I birded my usual wet spots in southern Todd and Logan Counties this AM.
Highlights included several personal FOS species, a Bald Eagle sitting on
the nest near Guthrie Swamp, and 2 locations with ~50 Lesser Yellowlegs.  A
partial species list is below with personal FOS birds marked so marked.

Blue-winged Teal
Great Blue Heron
Double-crested Cormorant, FOY  [Year substituted for season on this species]
Semi-palmated Plover, FOS
Spotted Sandpiper, FOS
Solitary Sandpiper, FOS
Lesser Yellowlegs
Least Sandpiper
Long-billed Dowitcher, FOS
Wilson's Snipe
Bald Eagle
Great Crested Flycatcher, FOS
Eastern Kingbird
Purple Martin
Barn Swallow
Tree Swallow
White-eyed Vireo
Brown Thrasher
Common Yellowthroat 
Blue Grosbeak, FOS &
Grasshopper Sparrow, FOS.
