This afternoon I saw a Loggerhead Shrike on a wire on US 68, roughly 1 mile
west (south really) of Millersburg, Bourbon County - about five miles north
of where the bypass ends in Paris. I was leaving Millersburg and the bird
definitely made me do a double-take and a quick turn around to get a closer
look. It was right across from Firegate #2101. How common are Loggerhead
Shrikes in the Inner Bluegrass/ Kentucky?
