[birdky] RPT: Recent CBC results

A few highlights from recent CBCs:
 
 
KY portion of Reelfoot Lake, TN CBC Dec 20th (Nancy Moore, Donna Ward,
Ken Leggett, Eddie Huber, and myself)
 
* hardly any geese at Long Point ... plenty of food, just no birds yet
 
* LeConte's Sparrow (4 including one that afforded us as good and long a
look as any of us had ever had)
 
* Lapland Longspur (at least 750 ... need to return and look for
Chestnut-collareds!)
 
* Western Meadowlark (at least 1, perhaps 2)
 
* Brewer's Blackbird (1 male)
 
* Pine Siskin 1
 
 
Ballard County, Dec 22nd (Hap Chambers, Melissa Easley, Scott Record,
Eddie Huber, and myself)
 
* 96 species
 
* all common geese and dabblers including 1 Cackling Goose and 2 Wood
Ducks
 
* 43 Bald Eagles
 
* Barn Owl
 
* Marsh Wren
 
* Sedge Wren
 
* LeConte's Sparrow
 
* Lincoln's Sparrow
 
* Lapland Longspur (110)
 
* Brewer's Blackbird (2)
 
* Pine Siskin (10)
 
* MISSED ... Ross's Goose, American Crow (amazingly have missed it
before!), and vultures
