Thanks to Eddie for the nice avocet this morning! Other reports of interest 
past two days on the family farm in Jefferson County:
 
Yesterday evening ... small number of Vesper Sparrows; a couple of Purple 
Finches, at least 1 and maybe 2 or 3 American Woodcocks; flock of 75+ American 
Pipits, Mark M. had a late Common Nighthawk fly over.
 
This morning ... 3+1+1+ a couple more heard Purple Finches passing over; 1 Pine 
Siskin heard only; 2 or 3 Vesper Sparrows; small numbers of American Pipits 
passing overhead.
