[birdky] RPT: Lake Herndon, Logan County

1 November 2005:

This morning, I took a short detour to Lake Herndon/Boy Scout Lake, just north
of Russellville in Logan County, and looked around for about 15 minutes.
Observations of possible interest were:

â 2 Green-winged Teal,
â 3 Pied-billed Grebes,
â 1 Belted Kingfisher,
â 1 Brown Creeper,
â 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets,
â 3 Golden-crowned Kinglets, and
â 1 Swamp Sparrow.

The Double-crested Cormorant observed there recently was no where to be found.

That concludes this report.
