I went for a hike with a friend over a 1/3 of the Scott's Gap trail on
Sunday and today hiked around the Horine Section, and had to stop to search
for lost glasses in the rain for 3 hours. Heard only birds of interest
would be:

05/24- Welcome center
Northern Parula

-Scott's Gap trail
2 Acadian Flycatchers
lots of Red-eyed Vireo- no Yellow-thr.
Worm-eating Warbler
5 Ovenbird
Kentucky Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
2 Hooded Warbler

05/26- Mitchell Hill Road- Yellow-throated Warbler

-Horine Section
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
no Yellow-throated Vireo
Purple Martin
2 Pine Warbler
2 Ovenbird
Hooded Warbler

While searching for glasses I encountered 15 different species of moth, 1
American Toad and 1 Red Eft( young newt.)

Good Birding,
