[birdky] RPT: Henslow's Sparrow

Yesterday, March 17th, while mowing Indian grass on the family farm in eastern
Jefferson County, among the numerous Song and Savannah Sparrows I flushed up at
least one Henslow's Sparrow! I got the bird to fly over to some small trees in
a fenceline and got an excellent look. This is about a week to ten days earlier
than the species has been reported in Kentucky in spring. These secretive
little guys must begin returning with the first of the other sparrows like
Vespers, Savannahs, and Chippys.

Speaking of Vespers, I kicked up two from one of the farm lanes on Wed, March
15th. And the day before, a group of us birding on the farm had at least a
couple of American Tree Sparrows still hanging around.
