[birdky] RPT: Greenup Co. SSWMA

Me again. I made a return trip to the South Shore WMA. (08:00 - 10:00) I saw
great egrets, great blue herons & green herons but nothing else so no proof of
a tricolored heron. Maybe someday. I was able to identify some of the shore
birds. I saw two spotted sandpipers, one solitary sandpiper and five (possibly
juveniles) least sandpipers. I also saw one sandpiper that looked like a least
sandpiper on steroids. It was around the size of a solitary sandpiper. All
the sandpiper were within a few feet of each other at one time or another. Do
you all have any ideas of what it could be? I have a guess but will wait to
hear from you all. I tried to use my daughters camera but it was not up to the
task.
