[birdky] RPT: Greenup Co. - Purple Finch

I just observed a purple finch at my feeder for the first time in at least 10
years. They have been replaced by house finches here long ago. It was a very
pleasant surprise. Others observed so far today: blue jay, cardinal, white
breasted nuthatch, junco, chickadee, white throated sparrow and titmouse. I
know these are all common. I have also been having an American woodcock on my
driveway most days for the last couple of weeks. I have almost hit it numeous
times. It blends in too well. It will fly at the last second or half second
and scare my daughters as I take them to school. Always sometime fun going on
in the country.
