Great morning birding at the Falls/Ashland Park and the Big Four Bridge area:
The lighting conditions were great in the morning.
Highlights: were the large numbers of horned grebes, d-c-cormorants, lesser
scaup. The lesser scaup were identified mostly by the white restricted to
secondaries while flying. I'm sure there were some Greater Scaup in these
large rafts?

Had nice views of three 1st winter adult Franklin's Gulls on the outer fossil
beds (viewed from the Interpretive Center). Judy Galitzine and Barbara Worner
(spelling) had views of the Franklin's Gulls at the Interpretive Center. Eddie
Huber arrived at Ashland Park in the early afternoon.
