Pam Spaulding and I visited the Falls for awhile early afternoon. Highlight was having a sub-adult Bald Eagle stoop on a hunting Osprey. There were *a few* more shorebirds than have been present lately ... 3 Spotties, 1 Pectoral, and 5 or 6 Leasts accompanying about 50 Killdeer. Other birds of note included a juv. Black-crowned Night-Heron, about 15 Great Egrets, 2 American Pipits and 4, count 'em, *4* Ring-billed Gulls. bpb, Louisville ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
