[birdky] RPT: Falls of the Ohio 01/22/09

I had to go to the Hall of Justice this morning and miraculously enough, had 15 
minutes to spare afterward.  So this is what I saw from the parking lot 
upstream from the Falls of the Ohio in fifteen minutes:
 
groups of 20+,100+ and 10 or so scaup that included at least one Greater 
probably more; a female looked suspicious but too far away to be sure
 
24 Bufflehead
18 or so Common Goldeneye- probably the most I've seen on the river
3 Hooded Merganser
 There are probably a lot more birds, so I am going to try to get out there for 
an extended session tomorrow morning.
