[birdky] RPT: Cave Run success

We had a good turn out for the EKBC outing today at Cave Run. The ponds at
Shallow Flat had a good variety of ducks, Wigeon, gadwall, black, buffelhead,
ringed neck and a red tailed hawk. The trip to the beach proved worthwhile, we
saw the eagles around the nest. Both were seen flying in the area. One flew
to a tree and sat and appeared to be feeding.

Fred Busroe and I drove up 801 and saw a mature eagle near the Warnix boat
ramp. Not much in the Paragon area, except for a few hooded mergansers. At the
dam Jim Williams reported seeing 3 horned grebe, 2 snow geese and Canada geese.
Fred reported seeing ring billed and Bonaparte's gulls earlier in the day.
All in all as usual, the Cave Run Lake area provide to be a great place to
bird, even with the hatchery closed for the youth hunt.
