Looked without success for the red-throated loon today. Did see a Caspian tern
and a beautiful, singing male n. parula near Eureka Campground area on Barkley
Lake.
At Kuttawa overlook, the adult lesser black-backed gull continues, and the
nearby island had 100 (give or take) black-crowned night-herons. White
pelicans seemed to be everywhere again, and the d-c cormorants were on various
islands standing side by side like penguins.
