Larry Peavler, Mary Yandell, Andrew Melnykovych, and I actually had the
Black-throated Gray Warbler in view off and on for about two hours late morning
to mid-day today. It also was not foraging quite as high, including quite low
in the holly tree in the back yard for about 10-15 minutes. Mark Monroe and I
found it again about 445 in the spruce trees by the house.
Also seen today were the male Pine Warbler, several Yellow-rumps, and 2 Pine
Siskins (with ZERO goldfinches; the wave of October migrants is obviously
thru!).
