Morning trip to the refuge and surrounding croplands revealed the following 
highlights.

Wood Duck  2
Gadwall  200 +
Black Duck  2
Mallard  500-1000+
Shoveler  50+
Pintail  1
Killdeer  50 +
Horned lark  100+ (Monkey's Eyebrow)
Brown thrasher  1
Lapland longspur  2 (Monkey's Eyebrow)
Brewer's blackbird  21 (2 flocks of 17 and 4 in the Dairy farm feedlots on hwy 
310 near Oscar)
