Saturday morning, I banded a female Rufous Hummingbird at the home of
Don and Linda Dott who live south-southwest of Waddy, Shelby County. I
have not yet confirmed the bird's age because of some contradictory
clues. The Dott's have noticed the bird for at least a week.
Interestingly, this bird is LESS THAN FIVE MILES south of the bird I
banded on Thursday at Peytona! How many must there be in KY right now!
