[birdky] RPT: 2 Logan County Shorebirds

March 11, 2009:
 
Today, at a small wetland formed near the Russellville/Logan County Airport,
were 2 non-Snipe-non-killdeer shorebirds.  They were both FOS for me.
Present were 1 Greater Yellowlegs and 1 Lesser Yellowlegs.  Both birds were
observed at fairly close range with binocs only.  Maybe the cold air forces
them down.
