Subject: [birdky] RFI: Anyone still have a hummer & moonwatching
I was curious if anyone still has a hummingbird coming to their feeder(s)?
Amy and I moonwatched at Frankfort for about 1/2 hour last night. It was a
very good night, with movement equal to or better than a typical "good" night
in fall. Several zips or flutters across the face of the moon each minute. We
only saw one bat. There were also a lot of flight notes including several
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.
