[birdky] RBG + other Magoffin sightings

Greetings

 

Mrs. H spotted our first male RBG today.  Last year's first arrival was on
April 18th.

 

Other sightings (or hearings) over the past few days near the little house
in the woods include:

 

Orchard oriole-my first in 61 years!

Blue gray gnatcatcher

Brown thrasher

Blue jays-actually quite rare for this property

Chipping sparrows

Roughed grouse hen

Wild turkey hen

Hooded warbler

Yellow throated warbler

Carolina wren

Bluebirds

Cardinals

doves

Flicker

Red bellied

Pileated

Hairy

Downy

Towhees

Goldfinches galore

Titmice

Chickadees

Juncos

And least and last, Cowbirds

 

Heard but not seen

Red and white eyed vireos

Black and white warblers

Whip or will

Scarlet tanager(?)
