Tommy,
I live in Frankfort on Buttimer Hill over looking Benson Creek and the KY
River. I have lived here for 3 years and just saw my first purple
finch ever feeding on black oil sunflower seeds at my hanging tray
feeder...one female amidst a pile of goldfinches, house sparrows and usual
feeder birds. I was excited!

I had 1 male & 1 female Purple Finch at the feeder yesterday, and 1 male
today. No pine siskin in a couple weeks.

Is anyone else getting huge amounts of Purple Finches? I had 7 at my
feeder at once! More than I've ever seen at once! And also, I haven't
gotten a Pine Siskin on my feeders... are they scarce to anyone else or do
I just need to up my feeder game?
