[birdky] Purple Finch, finally

For the first time in ages--maybe more than a year--we had a couple of Purple
Finches (a male and a female) at feeders today and yesterday. Also had a cute
pair of Buffleheads diving just offshore yesterday. Several bluebirds have been
very happy during the cold and snow to find the suet I put out for them ( I
chopped up a block of suet and sprinkled it on the ground near the base of a
tree). The suet has been very popular with our Brown Creeper and R-c Kinglet,
too. We also have cowbirds in fair numbers today--the first in our yard for
months.
