It IS an adult tricolored heron. Very distant, but no doubt tonight. Still has
the white plume on the back of the head. Pictures will be useless.

Eddie Huber, Mary, and I had a possible tricolored heron at Eddy Creek 730
bridge as dusk approached today. Distant bird, but good light at the time.
Small heron, darker back than great blue. Very active feeder. Two-toned bill,
darker on end. Distinct blue bib, sharply delineated from the white belly.
Flew before we could identify for certain. :(
