[birdky] Photos from recent Venezuela trip

All,

Let me 1st say that this doesn't directly pertain to birding in KY. If you
aren't interested in pix from a trip outside KY, please disregard now.

For anyone interested, I have a new gallery with a lot of shots from a
terrific trip to Venezuela last month. Consider this a precursor, as Chris
Sloan will be following-up with a collection of shots from everyone, where
several of these same shots will probably be. Chris and Clyde Blum in
particular got a lot of great shots, as their D-SLR's and 400mm lenses
performed very well down there. I did carry my scope, and did some
digiscoping whenever I could, which helped with some of the distant birds.
If you're only going to look at one set of photos, probably consider looking
at Chris'.

I'll let Chris spill most of the beans, as he put the trip together, but we
had well over 500 species on the trip. A disproportionate number of Harpy
Eagle shots are included in my gallery, because, well because it's a Harpy
Eagle! My gallery is arranged in taxonomic order, and as usual, many of the
shots aren't exactly pretty!

Good Birding!!
