Shorebird migration is at its peak now and a trip to
Petros Pond on Saturday produced some interesting
species, however the total numbers of birds was small.
Here are the species seen.
Black-bellied Plover
Baird's Sandpiper
Stilt Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Solitary Sandpiper
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Spotted Sandpiper
Killdeer
Tom
